Lenkel Disk Editor v1.3

Lenkel Disk Editor for Commodore 64 and 1541, 1571, and 1581 disk drives.

In the 1980's while learning basic and machine language, I wrote a disk editor to check out some video game maps. It turned out to be generally useful. It is fairly simple and straight forward with limited features. It auto-detects the next drive on volume change and starts at the directory track. You can follow jump links through the directory. Enter a track and sector to a file and you can jump link through the file.

Edit any track and sector within the standard range.

The editor allows some text typing, moving the cursor, but it is meant to allow editing byte by byte of in-place bytes and is not a text editor in that sense. You can enter any value from 0-255 using PETASCII "screen-poke" characters and RVS on/off.
